Physical media may be devalued by some in our streaming-dominated world, but you’d be surprised how many great titles are only available on disc. Also, some titles can be so much more rewarding on DVD, Blu-ray, or 4K UHD, especially when they’re loaded with special packaging and bonus features. With that in mind, here’s a look at all the best films and TV series that you can spin starting in May 2024, including Denis Villeneuve’s sci-fi masterpiece Dune: Part Two, plus the disc debuts of Bob Marley: One Love, Sasquatch Sunset, Imaginary, Anatomy Of A Fall, and Arthur The King. Also arriving this month is a 4K anniversary SteelBook edition of The Crow, plus the 4K UHD debuts of the Talking Heads concert movie Stop Making Sense, the groundbreaking 1960 psychological thriller Peeping Tom, and more.

Knox Goes Away (2024) Official Trailer - Michael Keaton, James Marsden

Available May 28 We still want more of Michael Keaton’s Batman on-screen, but until then we’ll have to settle for him playing hitman John Knox in the thriller Knox Goes Away. The official description of the movie also starring Al Pacino, James Marsden, Marcia Gay Harden, and Ray McKinnon reads: “Academy Award nominee Michael Keaton directs and stars in this unpredictable thriller as John Knox, a hitman attempting to make amends before his recently discovered dementia takes over. Aided by a trusted friend (Pacino) with his own shady past, Knox races against the police — and his own rapidly deteriorating mind — to save his estranged son (Marsden) from a vengeance-fueled mistake and ‘cash out’ before it’s too late.” Aside from coming packaged with a DVD and digital code, the doesn’t seem to include any other bonus features.
