      Hmm.Dredd (A-) >> Soylent Green (B) > Overlord (B-) > Attack the Block (C+) > Hell Comes to Frog Town (F)

I enjoy Hell Comes to Frog Town for what it is but it’s a weird add for this list.   It feels like a algorithm created this and not a person.   Or if it was a person it’s someone who hasn’t watched these movies and just looked at trailers.

Agreed. Dredd is criminally underappreciated, but everyone knows Soylent Green. Overlord and ATB are fine, but hardly classics. As for Frogtown, well, F is a bit harsh. But it felt like an attempt to manufacture a “Road Warrior meets Buckaroo Banzai” cult classic… and it suffers terribly in comparison to They Live, IMO.

I love Attack the Block & have it on DVD so thankfully don’t have to chase it across the streaming services

It feels like a very English thing, but the way the kids treat Jodie Whittaker’s character triggers me. They abuse, steal from, threaten and bully her pretty much all of the way through. Takes me right out of the movie.Just watch Dredd five times.

I really couldn’t get past that, either. The “heroes” were basically assholes. Boyega’s character didn’t even have the decency to sacrifice himself at the end.

“Very English” is one way of putting it…
