Sean “Diddy” Combs has been hit with a number of sexual assault lawsuits recently, leading to the rap mogul releasing a statement in which he denied the accusations and claimed that people are trying to “assassinate” his character and destroy his “legacy” for a “quick payday.” Now, as reported by Variety, 50 Cent has announced that his G-Unit production company is putting together a documentary (possibly for Billboard) about the allegations against Combs, and that the proceeds from it will be going to “victims of sexual assault and rape.”

On Twitter, 50 Cent shared a clip from the documentary that featured former Bad Boy Records rapper Mark Curry talking about going to parties where Combs would allegedly set aside special bottles of champagne that had been spiked specifically for women to drink from, adding that the women did not know they were being drugged and that they became “slippery” after drinking. No other details about the documentary have been announced—but the end of the clip does make it explicitly clear that 50 Cent is executive producing it, so it’s clear that he wants everyone to know that.

You can see the preview clip that 50 Cent shared on Twitter right here:

The allegations against Combs include, most recently, that he transported a 17-year-old across state lines in 2003, gave her “copious amounts of drugs and alcohol” and raped her. Multiple other women have accused Combs of raping them, going back to the early ‘90s, and he recently settled a lawsuit from former partner Cassie after she accused him of abuse as well. As mentioned above, Combs has denied these allegations, specifically saying: “I did not do any of the awful things being alleged. I will fight for my name, my family, and for the truth.”

Doesn’t 50 Cent have allegations of violence against women against him?

Even if he didn’t, his music is so misogynist that I wouldn’t trust any doc he released, even if it was well intentioned.

It’s like if Rick James championed #MeToo.

Yeah but then doesn’t this have the reverse affect of trying to make people not care about what sounds like horrifying allegations? Being like “50 Cent is making this so I don’t care” is kind of supporting the rapists no?

Maybe he’s doing this so the documentary is what cmes up when you Google “50 Cent allegations”

He uploaded a sex tape of Rick Ross baby mother, got sued, and they claimed bankruptcy. Never paid anything. Also, he needs to stop being so quick to shit on these others rappers. they might be guilty but all it takes is a accusation or lawsuit and he will be in the same boat.

Can you be more specific?  I did a quick search (nothing exhaustive) and did not find anything suggesting 50 Cent had engaged in violence against women.

There seems to have been some sort of argument in 2007 with a woman he had a relationship where she alleged at the time he struck her.

Oh! I assumed he just had specific personal beef with Diddypuff. I couldn’t imagine why else notorious dickshit 50 Cent would do anything to benefit victims of sexual assault.

Imagine being sexually assaulted and then having your experience recounted in a doc EP’d by a performer who is MAYBE not the best person to be telling this kind of narrative and who may well be doing this to settle a personal beef — oh, but you get an unspecified portion of whatever money is left over after expenses!
