Air Bud vs. Old Yeller? The creators of HBO’s Animals pit famous animals against each other

With the third season of HBO’s animated series Animals underway, The A.V. Club jumped into a swan boat on Echo Park Lake in Los Angeles with creators Phil Matarese and Mike Luciano to talk about the new slate of episodes. While on the lake, we played a game with the pair called “Which Animal Would Win?” where we pit two pop culture animals against each other and they decided which would prevail in combat.
