Potentially next up in Cameron Crowe’s new romcom/action movie: Alec Baldwin. The erstwhile 30 Rock actor is in talks to join Bradley Cooper, Emma Stone, Rachel McAdams, and, as recently reported here, Danny McBride, in Crowe’s new picture, about a defense contractor (Cooper) who tries to stop the launch of a weapons satellite. Baldwin will possibly play some sort of no-nonsense military figure who will demand that Cooper “get that satellite in the air or I’ll have your ass on a platter!,” but that's just a guess. It has also been reported that the movie will feature a talking computer, which could also fit the bill for Baldwin, assuming that he wants to take it easy this year with just a little light voiceover work.
