If it’s good enough or Brendan Fraser, it’s good enough for Alicia Silverstone. During a Clueless reunion panel at ’90s Con in Hartford, Connecticut, Silverstone responded to a fan’s question about whether she would ever take on a sequel to the duo’s 1999 film Blast From The Past with an all-encompassing answer.

“With Brendan? I would do anything with Brendan. It was so much fun,” Silverstone shares during the Sunday afternoon panel, per Variety. “I just saw Brendan after he won his Oscar and he’s so cute. He talked in his speech about how we all go through this really hard time and you have to grow and it’s part of life that you struggle and then look what happened to him! So yes, I’m happy to do that.”

When Fraser accepted the award for Best Actor—his first Oscar—at the 95th Academy Awards, he spoke about his decades-long trajectory in Hollywood, and how grateful he was to have support around him throughout the highs and lows.

“I started in this business 30 years ago, things didn’t come easy to me but there was a facility that I didn’t appreciate at the time, until it stopped. I just want to say thank you for this acknowledgement,” Fraser, who won for his performance in Darren Aronofsky’s controversial stage-to-screen adaptation The Whale, shared during his acceptance speech. In one of a series of whaling metaphors, he went on, “It couldn’t be done without my cast. It’s been like I’ve been on a diving expedition and the air on the line to the surface is being watched over by some people in my life like my sons.”

Are there really that many acting gigs she’s turning down these days?

When was the last time Aerosmith made a video?

This is why these stories always crack me up. Of course (actor) would be interested in doing (movie) if they were asked! They make their living by getting hired to act in movies! Only a small percentage of stars at the top are turning down offers because they get to pick and choose. Outside the A-list, most actors are waiting by the phone for anything to come along.

I don’t even make my living acting in movies, yet I too would be glad to be in a movie with Brendan Fraser. Or even Alicia Silverstone!

Rachel Zegler recently gave an interview and was asked why she chose to do the Shazam movie and her response was basically “it was a paying job and I wanted a paying job.” It was very refreshing. That said I feel like Alicia took a purposeful step back from acting and while she’s not really a-list anymore she does pick and choose based on what she feels like doing. Like she’s not actively in need of money or more notoriety or anything like that, like Zegler who is just starting out. I could be wrong, of course.

That’s a bit needlessly mean. True, but mean.

Turning them down like you turn down chances to shit all over the comments.

“If it’s good enough or Brendan Fraser”Kind of a backhanded compliment isn’t it?

Yes, irrelevant actor says that they’d love work with current “hot” resurgent actor, to become relevant again……news at 11.

I really can’t imagine Silverstone turning down a Paulie Shore movie at this point.

    • tvcr-av says:

She should try Adam Sandler instead.

      • richardalinnii-av says:

Paulie Shore would be more fitting, since a famous line in Clueless is “Searching for a boy in high school is as useless as searching for meaning in a Paulie Shore movie.”

““I would do anything with Brendan,” Silverstone responded” and then added “Or anyone, really.”

Fraser already worked on a film with Keaton’s Batman that never saw the light of day, now he could do the same with the Batgirl from the same continuity.

I was pleasantly surprised by Blast From the Past. I wasn’t expecting much when I saw it, but it was much better than anticipated.

    • batista_thumbs_up-av says:

It’s charming in ALL CAPS, it’s a very huggable movie.

Even the scene where Brendan Fraser keeps punching the dude in the face is weirdly wholesome and innocent.

    • igotlickfootagain-av says:

I was talking to a friend of mine about it the other night. It’s a bit of a nothing of a movie. but Fraser is so damn charming in it that he punches the whole thing up a couple of notches.

I mean, people can make fun of this all they want (and the jokes are right there), but it is a nice change of pace to occasionally read something about a longtime Hollywood denizen who’s apparently a really nice, cool dude.

  • weirdstalkersareweird-av says:

Fuck, throw my hat into the ring as well. I can plug away.

  • lovingjupiter-av says:

Does anyone actually proof read anything anymore? Please do. Start with the very first line.

  • igotlickfootagain-av says:

I look forward to seeing her in ‘The Whale 2: A Whale of a Christmas’.
