The lead-up to the Oct. 17 premiere of American Horror Story's second chapter has mostly been limited to promos featuring brief, music video-like flashes of imagery, casting reports, and, of course, Ryan Murphy essentially sitting down and reading the entire story to you in bite-sized chunks of character and plot description. But if you're still interested even after all that, here's the first thorough promo for the horror series' second season. It's got all the nuns, nymphomaniacs, mad scientists, sexual repression, and Adam Levine you've come to expect by now, plus brief flashes of basic cable nudity. No mutants or man-asses yet, but it's a start.
