As is its wont, March was in like a lion and out like a lamb, leaving behind a bevy of blockbuster movies in its wake. But this lamb’s got something good under its wool: Movies! April, to put it mildly, ain’t no slouch. With a couple of anticipated action epics (Monkey Man, Civil War), erotically-charged tennis matches (Challengers), and a one-of-a-kind, extremely legal superhero parody (The People’s Joker), April has enough coal to keep the film flames burning until summer.
So wash away those April showers with The A.V. Club’s unimpeachable film preview!

and the long-awaited sequel to Ken Burns’ Civil WarI’m not sure whether that is a mistake, a subhead written by an AI, or some dumb April Fool’s joke.
Surprise! It’s all three at once.
I don’t think it’s an April Fools joke, I think its a normal joke. I hate this website too, but its incredibly obvious that that’s a joke.
I was kind of hoping “bring the tissues” was an IVF joke, but probably shouldn’t give them that much credit.
So AV Club sold to Paste and Takeout sold to another company. See you all on the other side. Maybe.https://www.thedailybeast.com/go-media-continues-fire-sale-dumps-av-club-and-takeout
