Author and illustrator Marc Brown is best known for creating Arthur, both the book series and the Emmy-winning PBS television show. While on tour promoting his new picture-book collaboration with R.L. Stine, Mary McScary, Brown stopped by our Chicago office for an interview with a couple of A.V. Club kids. In this clip, Brown explains why Arthur’s nose slowly went from this to this, and reveals his favorite animal.
