For all you awkward lads trying to get down on the dance floor, your new hero has arrived in the form of Bill Hader. There’s no shortage of “they can dance to anything” memes—hi, Pennywise!—but this one takes the cake. The old SNL clip resurfaced earlier this month with the creation of the Bill Hader Dancing To Twitter account, with first pairing finding Hader grooving to the 2010 party hit “Like A G6" by Far East Movement and The Cataracs.

There are classic bops like Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams,” which works insanely well with the awkward sway of Hader’s hips.

A more modern classic like Lorde’s “Ribs” finds its ethereal air accentuated by Hader’s sassy finger wags.

And for all you Succession fans, this banger’s for you.

For those wondering about clip’s origins: It’s from “Alan,” a cut-for-time SNL sketch from 2015, and, well, they weren’t kidding when they said he was “the future of casual entertainment.”

Fun fact, if you picture a Pontiac G6, instead of the airplane, when listening to “Like a G6″, the song is significantly funnier.

Well, there is no such thing as a G6 plane.  So, you kind of have to picture a Pontiac G6.

The song is referencing the Gulfstream GVI (G650). It’s a plane that exists.

No, it’s not. The song is referencing 2 other songs. The “G6″ in the song “Booty Bounce,” which was sampled in “Like a G6,” came about when the songs’ producers, the Cataracs, were looking for a rhyme for the line “Sippin’ sizzurp in my ride, like Three 6,” a reference to the 2000 song “Sippin’ on Some Syrup” by rap group Three 6 Mafia. They settled on “G6,” which was meant to be a reference to the private airplane model Gulfstream IV, referred to as a “G4.” The G4 had been name-checked in songs such as Drake’s 2009 “Forever.” So, they decided to change that to “G6,” thinking that was “flyer than a G4,” according to Far East Movement member Kev Nish.  They basically made up a plane to sound cooler than another plane.

It doesn’t matter how they got around to using it as a lyric. Even if they didn’t know it was a real plane, the point is it still is and was a real plane.

Where’s the dude that just posts the YouTube version of AV Club articles into the comments section? I have Twitter blocked at work, and by work, I mean blocked on every media device that I own because Twitter is the fucking worst.

Considering all the garbage out there it’s been a pleasant surprise to see all these assorted Bill Hader memes popping up in the last few months. That sketch is great and I’m glad if it’s getting more attention (his “Greg the alien” sketches with Kenan also deserve more notice). As for Bill dancing on SNL, my favorite sketch would have to be “Arlene,” starring Melissa McCarthy, where he does some very committed hip rolls at the end…
