Chicago, see Jeff Bridges and Julianne Moore in Seventh Son early and for free

After post-production delays and a switch from one distributor to another, fantasy epic Seventh Son will finally see the light of day a full two years after its original premiere date. The film, adapted from the novel The Last Apprentice, follows the story of a prophesied “chosen one” who falls into the middle of a war between Jeff Bridges’ grizzled warrior and Julianne Moore’s evil queen, last seen on-screen together in the Coen brothers’ The Big Lebowski. If you’re a fan of dragons and dark magic and The Dude, then we’ve got an opportunity for you to see Seventh Son two days early on February 4. An official plot synopsis and trailer can be found below.

“In a time of enchantments when legends and magic collide, the sole remaining warrior of a mystical order (Oscar winner Jeff Bridges) travels to find a prophesized hero born with incredible powers, the last Seventh Son (Ben Barnes). Torn from his quiet life as a farmhand, the unlikely young hero embarks on a daring adventure with his battle-hardened mentor to vanquish a dark queen (Julianne Moore) and the army of supernatural assassins she has dispatched against their kingdom.”
