Virtually impossible to avoid, the yellow, amorphous creatures have managed to upset parents, conspiracy theorists, and Miguel fans alike. But Joe Pera Talks With You executive producer and #MinionSquad creator Conner O’Malley sees Minions for their true potential as a source of comic irony. On #MinionSquad, O’Malley walks around New York in an airbrushed Minions T-shirt badgering people to join his “movement.” We talked to O’Malley about his faux obsession with Minions, and if he’s worried he’ll take it too far.
