Critics Choice Awards 2023: Here’s a look at this year’s red carpet arrivals

Two awards shows with only a few days separating them? Welcome to Hollywood in 2023, where your chances of winning a trophy are slightly better than they were in some previous years. But before the trophies are given out, there’s the matter of the red carpet—and just like with the Golden Globes a few days ago, tonight’s Critics Choice Awards was preceded by a thing where a bunch of famous people politely lined up and posed for photos.
Of course, a few celebrities who were at the Globes couldn’t make it tonight: Jamie Lee Curtis from Everything Everywhere All At Once and both Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson from The Banshees Of Inisherin all have COVID and will not be attending the Critics Choice Awards. (Wear a mask indoors! It’s okay to do that!) We hope they all get better, but here are some photos of other interesting people who decided to attend the Critics Choice Awards.

Adam Scott looks like a character he would use as parody.Bella Ramsey looks v cool.
Adam Scott looks like a confused middle-aged schoolteacher known as Barb. Andrew Garfield’s fake tan almost blends in with the colour of his outfit (daring choice, coming as a budget sofa). Bella Ramsay looks exceedingly cool. Matt Smith has no eyebrows. What is a Glen Powell? Sheryl Lee Ralph looks gorgeous. Michelle Yeoh and Stephanie Hsu look ready to trample all over those who get in their way.
Scott looks like he’s about to tell you there’s a three-wife minimum before you’re allowed to join him at the cult’s compound in Belize.

Elle Fanning looks almost as good as Catherine the Hella Above Average. I swear if I had that costuming I’d never dress normie again.

I like Jimmi Simpson, I’d though Westworld would raise his profile, and he works a TON (he has like over 20 credits since then!) but not sure…maybe I’m just watching different shows or that one with Ben Kingsley didn’t popGlen Powell looks so generic.Everyone is right about Adam Scott…that’s the worst outfit I have seen in a long time. Kind of sad about how bad Judy Greer’s outfit is. Anya Taylor-Joy looks incredible…and I know Amber Ruffin’s suits are a thing but I think she looks great like this. Bella Ramsey looks awesome
