When we interviewed the stars of Netflix’s new Zack Snyder movie Army Of The Dead, we asked them all one thing: Who in this cast do you think could survive a zombie apocalypse? Some, interestingly, said Tig Notaro, who stepped into a tough situation on the movie and came out like a champ. Dave Bautista, however, was supremely confident in his own strength, preparedness, and cunning. As you’ll see in the video above, he thinks he could camp out in his Florida compound, though he has slight concerns about fresh water. (Drink the pool, maybe? Does that work?) What he’s most worried about, though, are his dogs, who he’d have to kept fed and safe, zombies be damned. We also talked about his food truck fantasies, and his passion for gourmet grilled cheese, just because.

Army Of The Dead is in theaters now, and hits Netflix this Friday.

Dave Bautista is worried about his dogs.
Could I love him more? That’s all I worry about. That if something happens to me, who will take care of Buddy?

I would definitely worry about my dogs in a zombie apocalypse. They bark at everything. We would have zombies outside our house 24/7.I watch The Walking Dead and Darryl has a dog and I worry about that dog every time they go somewhere. I also worry about the cat on Fear The Walking Dead, but at least Skidmark has a carrier and won’t bark at zombies.

Yea, I’m not a big celebrity guy, but I support this chap. Quite an underdog, if such a thing can be said about a guy who looks like that who has been in the public eye to some extent for decades. He’s not the first wrestler to break into acting, but IMO, he’s the best at it – his movies have been much, much better than Dwayne Johnson’s, even if he isn’t necessarily the star. Also I read how he broke down and cried when he found out he got Drax. I can’t imagine the relief and pay-off he must have felt after leaving a lucrative WWE career to swing for the proverbial fences in Hollywood, I doubt I’ll ever have such a feeling of satisfaction. And he was loyal to his guy, James Gunn, when everyone else jumped on him and he lost his job. PLUS… I don’t judge people for whatever they use to get ahead, but I prefer when these guys just quietly take their steroids and don’t constantly attempt to mislead people into thinking it’s all in the routine and diet and that you can look like them if you work hard enough. Mr. Johnson bugs me for that, but Mr. Bautista hasn’t thus far. It’s a weird thing I know, but it’s a big pet peeve of mine.

The dogs would just form up in packs and eat the zombies. Dogs aren´t picky about rotting meat once they get hungry.
