Donald Trump ends fake presidential campaign to stay where he can do the most good—on The Apprentice

Aux Features TV

A mere day after NBC announced that it would gladly replace Donald Trump should his fake presidential bid get in the way of his fake boardroom duties on The Apprentice, Trump has confirmed what many have long suspected by officially announcing at the NBC upfronts that he is not actually seriously considering running in 2012, and will instead remain comfortably ensconced in the private sector and on reality television, where he can “continue to push our President and the country's policy makers” to listen to his one-sided arguments through interviews on Access Hollywood or whatever. You can read his much longer, more self-aggrandizing statement on the matter here. To put it in Trump terms, thus ends the biggest, greatest, classiest crass publicity stunt in the world.
