Yeah, this won’t happen unless the Flash movie somehow makes $2 billion.

Or they can find a way to make a tax writeoff out of it.

I’m 90% sure they planted this story deliberately to muddy the waters until after the movie comes out because “basically out-of-work actor in doomed corner of soon-to-be-rebooted franchise” doesn’t exactly sell tickets to these types of things.

Even if it does they still won’t do it because the multiverse gives them the perfect excuse to get rid of this fucker. He can die heroically and then Wally West from another universe can come take his place. It’s a shame because I do think he is a talented actor. I really enjoyed the perks of being a wallflower. I think he had a bright career ahead of him and he fucked it all up due to some God complex. Can he ever make a comeback?  I don’t know.

Flash fact! THE SPR3 exist somewhere in the DC multiverse!

Yeah, good move. Get rid of everybody else but keep the looney tune…

Why do I get the feeling that Ezra will not be a prominent part of the inevitable press tour?

    • chestrockwell24-av says:

He will be there.  You see he will just be moving so fast he is invisible so that is why you won’t see him.

If they had already filmed a Man of Steel sequel I think maybe Cavil might have been kept around. Shame because he seems passionate about…well, geek shit lol. So it sucks to see him leave the witcher AND DCEU.I know anonymous people have tried to paint him as “difficult”, but he just seems passionate about the source material.

    They batshit crazy.

What about Gal Gadot, Zachary Levi and Jason Mamoa? So odd that they’d keep the walking disaster that is Ezra Miller who few, if any, care about but ditch Cavill and Johnson that many did care about.

I am very certain this is marketing spin. If I’m guessing, The Flash was too expensive to shelve and they’re desperate to recoup whatever money they possibly can on the project. “Don’t worry, this movie might still matter let’s see,” is way better marketing than admitting the controversial lead of their dead franchise is indeed fired.Per your point, Gal Gadot, Zachary Levi, Jason Momoa, and Henry Cavill were all pretty well-liked in their respective roles. If they were going to retain any of them, no goddamn way would it be a giant liability like Ezra Miller.

The studio will keep their options open right up until they have a shooting script and the next actor signed up. Same thing happened over in the MCU, with Black Panther: just in case a certain actress becomes even more of a distraction, they now have T’Challa Junior waiting in the wings, ready to take over if that starts looking like the best business decision.

Has the Rock been official shown the door? I know Black Adam under performed but I don’t feel like anyone has mentioned him being recast. I mean chances are Black Adam is very far down on the list of DC characters the new bosses care about anyways, so they may not need to announce a recasting like they would do with Superman but I am wondering if the new Shazam movies does well if The Rocks Black Adam may still show up
