It may not be the most high-profile awards ceremony of the season—the one that everybody tunes in to watch, regardless of if they’ve seen all the nominated movies and TV shows, and where screams so hard about snubs and flubs that they have to call in sick for work the next day—but the Film Independent Spirit Awards just might be the most fun awards ceremony.
That’s reflected in the kinds of stars who show up for the event, especially when there’s two of ceremonies in a weekend (the SAG Awards were last night). Cillian Murphy might not come to the Film Independent Spirit Awards this year, though he’s welcome to and we’ll edit this paragraph if he does, but do you know who you will see?
