Ex-Queens Of The Stone Age bassist Nick Oliveri pleaded not guilty to five charges stemming from an incident last summer when a police team searched his home and found cocaine, methamphetamines, and a fully loaded rifle. The charges, as we reported in August, include two counts of possession of a controlled substance, two counts of possession of a controlled substance with a firearm, and one misdemeanor count of resisting, obstructing or delaying an officer (and, mind you, this whole chain of events was merely the fallout of a felony domestic violence arrest tied to a bizarre standoff with a Los Angeles S.W.A.T. team in July). If convicted, Oliveri could serve up to 15 years in prison. A pre-trial court date is booked for April 13. [via Pitchfork]
