i would rather write this comment about speculating about whether she acts like a real cunt or they just allude to it, rather than watch that video. fuck them AND me

Quite a few of these video blogs seem very snarky, as if to suggest “not much to say here. ‘Nuff said.” And, in response, commenters agree by refusing to comment on them.

does she mean they have to struggle twice as hard not to suck and be viewed as unworthy? because still no.

You couldn’t pay me to watch this video.

I think Gwyneth saw this poster for a fake movie by her mom and realized she could never top it.

Counterpoint to Gwyneth: no they don’t.Kids of celebrities have to deal with snide comments about their connections. Which is a nice problem to have when you jump every line and have a direct contact with producers or directors who will do your parents a favor. You absolutely have fewer dues to pay based on your name alone, and have instant clout some random aspiring actor couldn’t dream of.Kids of celebrities don’t have to wait tables to survive and live 5 roommates deep in a trash apartment in North Hollywood. They probably don’t have to do open calls for Verizon ads. They probably went to one of a handful of LA-area private schools where their classmates are also children of famous people, so everyone knows everyone and their foot is in every door.“Proving they deserve it” is a challenge that struggling nobodies from Virginia would be thrilled to take on.

man I still have the PTSD from the roaches in those North Hollywood trash apartments

Good point, I like her, but I really wonder if she is revolving with the rest of us on this globe.
So my question. How many sons and daughters, nieces and nephews of the famous are working in or around the professions that their parents made it big in?

  • frankwalkerbarr-av says:

Nepotism isn’t helping your kids — it’s helping your nephews. The term comes from the Latin “nepos” meaning “nephew”. It was the practice of medieval Popes giving jobs to their nephews whether they were qualified or not.

I would find it very hard to continually have to justify being given Cate Blanchett’s Oscar for Elizabeth just because Harvey Weinstein had a huge crush on me and that my parents were able to protect me from his predation due to their wealth and industry connections. I would find it especially hard given I barely managed to graduate from one of the most expensive girls’ prep schools in New York.
