Happy Endings reruns are coming to VH1

Aux Features TV

Those wondering why others were so very despondent over the cancellation of ABC’s Happy Endings this year will soon get a chance to see what all the fuss was about. VH1 will rebroadcast all 57 episodes of the fast-paced ensemble comedy, kicking off with a New Year’s marathon that starts Tuesday, Dec. 31 at 8 p.m. ET, then runs all through New Year’s Day. Then, beginning Jan. 8, Happy Endings will air on Wednesday nights in a multi-episode block from 7 to 9 p.m. ET. It’ll also be available online via the VH1 website and app—which is good news, since it’s not on Netflix online and no longer available on Hulu. A Happy Endings marathon sounds like a great way to kick off 2014, and regular reruns are a boon even to fans, seeing as you have to watch episodes a few times to catch all the jokes anyway. Yes, grief over Happy Endings’ cancellation remains, but this news helps a bit. Just a bit.
