The monsters are due on HBO Max Street next month, as the streaming service—continuing its “stream ’em when you got ’em” policy for many of Warner Media’s most (partially owned) high-profile film properties—is set to give a limited release to Godzilla Vs. Kong, the Avengers of the long-brewing series of monster movies that kicked off with Gareth Edwards’ Godzilla back in 2014. Godzilla Vs. Kong will land on the streaming service right at the end of the month, on March 31, and will stick around for the now-standard single month.

But if you’re not in the mood to wait, HBO Max has still got you covered, most prominently with the release of Zack Snyder’s Justice League on March 18. After all, nothing burns away the hours like a four-hour superhero movie, mixed with the satisfying knowledge that a hundred thousand human-hours of pent-up nerd anger have finally found their proper lightning rod. Plus: Jesus Joker!

And if that all sounds too fantastical, HBO Max’s original documentary offerings have got your back, including Tina, Daniel Lindsay and T.J. Martin’s exploration of the life and career of music legend Tina Turner. That’ll be popping up onto the service on March 27.

Wait… Shazam! is _leaving_ HBO Now? But… they *own* that.

    • modusoperandi0-av says:

They had to make room for {checks schedule} 2015’s adventure in indifference, Vacation.

    • tyenglishmn-av says:

For whatever reason they seem to be doing some weird rotation with DC stuff, only some of the shows/movies seem to be available at a time unless they’re Max originals

    • roadshell-av says:

Unlike Disney, who have enough money to horde most of their stuff, Warner still needs/wants to make money off of various lucrative deals with cable networks and the like and will do that with a bunch of their higher profile stuff like the DC movies.

    • adamtrevorjackson-av says:

mcu stuff goes back to netflix in 2025 this is all just a game.

  • kevinkap-av says:

Still surprised over two fronts some people are “Team Kong” and that people don’t recognize that its Mecha Zilla in the opening of the trailer.

  • thezmage-av says:

We gotta wait until the 17th for Superman the Animated Series?

  • hommesexual-av says:

This is all well and good, but when are they going to save The Venture Bros.?!

  • yourmomandmymom-av says:

Oooohh, Final Analysis. Kim Basinger’s boobs!Still haven’t seen any of the Rocky movies, other than Rocky VII: Adrian’s Revenge. Maybe I’ll finally do it, at least for the first one.

    • labbla-av says:

Rocky, Rocky Balboa and Creed are the best ones.

      • yourmomandmymom-av says:

I’ve actually seen Creed. I guess I should edit the comment to haven’t seen any of the movies titled “Rocky”.

    • djwgibson-av says:

Like the first Rambo, the first Rocky movie is dark and serious. Surprisingly artsy. The second one isn’t bad either.
The fourth is also fun for the entirely different reason that, by that point, it has become a cartoon.
