How do The Magicians learn to do those intricate spells?

Rejoice, Fillorians! Syfy’s The Magicians is poised to return this week for its third season. Naturally, for a show (and book series) called The Magicians, spells play a pretty big part in its mythos. Bringing the spells to life is choreographer Paul Becker, who used finger-tutting as the basis for crafting different spells.

In a recent set visit, we spoke with the cast to talk about the process of learning all those intricate moves.
