Javier Bardem is another weird villain in this teaser for the new Pirates Of The Caribbean

Due to some recent events, Johnny Depp isn’t necessarily the beloved star that he was a few months ago, so the world might not be quite ready to see him drunkenly swagger around as a pirate just yet. Appropriately enough, then, this first teaser for Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales (or POTC:DMTNT for short) only features an extremely spooky-looking guy trying to find Depp’s Captain Jack Sparrow, presumably with some ill intent in mind. That’s not just any spooky-looking guy, though, it’s Javier Bardem as Captain Salazar, a ghostly villain who seems to enjoy spraying black stuff out of his mouth and has an army of similarly spooky-looking dudes at his side.
In addition to Bardem and Depp, POTC:DMTNT (or Pot-See Dim-Tent for short) will also see the long-awaited return of Orlando Bloom’s Will Turner, who missed out on the last movie after getting tangled up with the undead crew of the Flying Dutchman in At World’s End. The film was directed by Joachim Rønning and Espen Sandberg, and it’ll be in theaters in 2017.
