Josh Charles to play the Menendez brothers’ psychologist in Law And Order True Crime

The latest Law And Order spin-off—the one that appears to be attempting to move into Ryan Murphy’s American Crime Story territory—is continuing to add to its cast. Law And Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders is already set to feature Edie Falco and Heather Graham. Now Entertainment Weekly reports that Josh Charles will play the murderous brothers’ psychologist Dr. Jerome Oziel. Charles is familiar with courtroom theatrics thanks to his Good Wife days, but this will be under very different circumstances.

Oziel is a crucial role, given that he was privy to the confessions of the brothers. According to the Los Angeles Times, Erik’s defense attorney Leslie Abramson said she would “attack [Oziel’s] credibility in every way known to man and God.”
