Physical media may be devalued by some in our streaming-dominated world, but you’d be surprised how many great titles are only available on disc. Maybe you’ve forgotten how rewarding some DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K UHD offerings can be, especially when they’re loaded with special packaging and bonus features. With that in mind, here’s a look at all the best films and shows you can spin starting in June, including the physical debuts of Avatar: The Way Of Water, John Wick: Chapter 4, Evil Dead Rise, Renfield, and The Covenant. Also on tap are the 4K UHD debuts of The Mummy trilogy starring Brendan Fraser, Insidious, National Lampoon’s Vacation, Creepshow, and many more.

Of course! The Scorpion King! That’s the third movie!Sure, it’s forgettable, but still, entirely watchable! A bit of light-hearted matinee, sword and sandals and sand cheese! That’s it! That’s the film they mean! Nothing else!Ahahahaha. Haha. Ha.

Hold up — someone made a sequel to that decade-plus old James Cameron blue cat-people movie?

If you want to buy that Wick disc, it’s gonna cost you; currently a $50 pre-order and that’s just the blu-ray.

Actually if you look at the listing for Avatar. There is UHD release and a separate Blu-ray 3D release. There isn’t a UHD 3D release. The market share has to be so small it’s not worth it. Im a projector guy so my 4K projector supports 3D but UHD Blu-ray players are not common. They aren’t break the bank expensive but for me it’s hard to justify spending $300 on one given how few disks are out there. I may get the standard blue ray release because I bet it still looks amazing in 1080p 3D

UHD 3D isn’t a thing, so there are no players or displays that support it.

      • nilus-av says:

Really?  So 4k Blu-ray played that support 3D are only for standard 1080p Blu-ray?   I figured UHD 3D was theoretical a thing even if no one uses it.   I hadn’t looked into it, I use my Xbox One S as my 4k player which doesn’t support normal Blu-ray 3D.
