Lily Allen almost played Yara Greyjoy on Game Of Thrones, according to Lily Allen. It’s a move that would have ostensibly made sense—Allen’s brother, Alfie, already plays Theon “Reek” Greyjoy—but a proposition that the pop star quickly rejected, once she learned about the handsy way (link obviously NSFW) her character would be introduced. In a Reddit AMA yesterday, Allen said she was originally asked to play Theon’s sister, but that she “felt uncomfortable because I would have had to go on a horse and he would have touched me up and shit”—something that’s totally reasonable. Allen says she would still be open to appearing on the show, but would rather do “a musical cameo like Sigur Ros.”
