Several years and untold scores of agent phone calls in the making, Movie 43 boasts an incredible all-star cast that makes Cloud Atlas and Garry Marshall's ensemble comedies look like a piddling Stand Up 2 Cancer special, plus a group of directors that includes everyone from Peter Farrelly to James Gunn to Griffin Dunne to Bob Odenkirk to Brett Ratner. And as you might have guessed, hardly any of these people actually worked together: Halle Berry, Kristen Bell, Kate Bosworth, Gerard Butler, Richard Gere, Hugh Jackman, Terrence Howard, John Hodgman, J.B. Smoove, Johnny Knoxville, Jack McBrayer, Justin Long, Chloe Moretz, Emma Stone, Seann William Scott, Stephen Merchant, Uma Thurman, Patrick Warburton, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Tony Shalhoub, Naomi Watts, Liev Schreiber, and Kate Winslet are just some of the people you'll see attempting to wring R-rated laughs out of a loose, Kentucky Fried Movie/Amazon Women On The Moon-like assemblage of comedy sketches, but only some of them will be doing so while sharing screen time. But you will see Emma Stone talk about sucking off a wizard, Anna Faris ask Chris Pratt to poop on her, and lots of other famous people making dick jokes, so that's the trade-off.
