As we prepare for Thanksgiving and holiday gatherings, Netflix is loading up with recent theatrical hits and original movies for the streamer’s subscribers to gobble up. Insidious: The Red Door—the final chapter in the Insidious horror series and the directorial debut of star Patrick Wilson—arrives after a profitable theatrical run. The Netflix original Nyad stars Annette Bening as Diana Nyad, the long-distance swimmer who successfully swam from Havana, Cuba, to Key West, Florida, in 2013 at the age of 64. Michael Fassbender stars as the titular assassin in David Fincher’s The Killer, also a Netflix original. Other additions to Netflix in November include Drag Me To Hell, Locked In, Resident Evil: Death Island, Rustin, See You On Venus, Family Switch, and many more.

i urge people to read up on diana nyad before deciding to watch the film.
Haven’t seen any reviews on the storyline of “NYAD”, but I wonder if the controverses will be addressed properly or they gloss them over…
i read one review that IIRC noted that any controverses were not addressed but i could very well be wrong.
So when do they make the movie about how the Red-Faced Demon turns into Darth Maul?
I’m glad Obama is the one to make a biopic about Rustin. I think Obama is the only politician that can understand what Rustin went through because both men are political figures and closeted homosexual men. I hope one day someone can make a beautiful love story about Obama and Larry Sinclair.
What the hell was up with that trailer for family switch?
Oh joy, a McG movie. Ugh.
Mrs. F. and I watched Nyad tonight and it was very good. Super good performances from all. I had forgotten if she ever made it or not so it was a bit suspenseful too!
