Pan writer joins Wonder Woman movie

Aux Features Film

It seems Warner Bros.’ desire to hire female talent behind the camera for its Wonder Woman movie doesn’t extend to the screenplay. The Hollywood Reporter announces that Jason Fuchs, writer of Joe Wright’s upcoming Pan, is attached to pen the screenplay for the Amazonian superhero. Given that the studio is also hoping Pan will become a multi-film franchise, this puts Fuchs in position to potentially guide two major franchises for years to come.

Fuchs will be developing drafts for the film in close collaboration with director Michelle MacLaren. As reported earlier, MacLaren was hired with the express purpose of having her play an integral role in developing the story alongside both the screenwriter and star Gal Gadot. Of course, it’s still a three-year wait until we can see the results of this creative team.
