CBS All Access’ new show No Activity is the anti-action show. It’s set over the course of a major drug cartel bust, but rather than use that as an opportunity for lengthy action sequences or gritty drama, it focuses on the unremarkable, mundane moments in which nothing of interest happens—hence the name No Activity. The show is produced by Will Ferrell and Adam McKay and stars a cavalcade of comedic talent, including Ferrell himself, Tim Meadows, Amy Sedaris, J.K. Simmons, Bob Odenkirk, and Jason Mantzoukas.
