Project Runway (Lifetime, 9 p.m.): Things are heating up as Lifetime’s Project Runway enters the third week of its 16th season. The season preview hints at plenty of tears and scandals ahead (mostly tears), with accusations of cheating, stern talking-to’s by Tim Gunn, and, typically, no shortage of diva tantrums. We always enjoy this show as summer draws to a close to inspire us to be more creative and crafty in the fall season. We’re not saying these resolutions take hold or anything, but it’s a fun watch nonetheless (although maybe if we started working on our Halloween costumes now… ) Tonight’s guest judge is 14-year-old Dance Moms star Maddie Ziegler, who probably still goes trick-or-treating.

Girlfriends’ Guide To Divorce (Bravo, 9 p.m.): Also fun for winding down the summer: checking in with the ladies of Girlfriends’ Guide To Divorce, as it fills that West Coast high-fashion Sex And The City-type hole in our lives. In season four, we’ve got Abby and Barbara starting their own website called Lady Parts (working title?), Phoebe juggling relationships while still married to Ken Cosgrove, and Delia becoming a humanitarian. Well, we suppose anything is possible.
