Well damn. That man was a delight in everything I ever saw him in. Thanks for all the joys and laughs!

  • dirtside-av says:

Oh no! He was always a delight. I didn’t realize he was that young.

He and Betty White as batshit killers on Boston Legal were adorable together. He also has a couple of books that are worth checking out, especially the audio version of last year’s memoir, which he performed himself.

I never saw Will and Grace so Boston Legal was what I knew him from. Fuck that series was fun as hell.

Yeah, it was. So many great actors went through that cast. And the Spader/Shatner friendship is still my most favorite on-screen relationship of any kind. They were flamingos together!

A serious bummer. So adorable and happy. We now must wrap Cheyenne Jackson in bubblewrap (or my arms) for safety!

I think he’d find it hilarious that ‘bummer’ is British slang for a flamboyant homosexual. I know I do.

I first saw him on Boston Legal and was instantly a fan. That’s a real bummer.

This is terribly sad. He was just on an episode of The Trixie Motel, in a bit where he and Trixie Mattel tested out lifeguards for the motel pool, and it was, as he always was, hilarious and delightful.

He’ll always be Murray from Ski Patrol to me.“I’m a friggin’ giant!”So sad. RIP Leslie Jordan.

Excuse me? ‘The actor was best known for his roles as Beverly Leslie on Will & Grace, Sid on The Cool Kids, Lonnie Garr on Hearts Afire, and for her numerous roles on American Horror Story.’

I know I’ve seen him in like a million things but I can’t remember what any of them were. I never watched any of the shows mentioned here. What I do remember is he was always funny, a welcome presence. Such a loss.

Well this sucks. What a joyful treasure he was in everything he did. RIP.

I grew up watching Will & Grace and he was always a hilarious scene stealer. When you heard his trademark, “well, well, well…” almost always followed by a blistering takedown of Karen Walker (“I thought I smelled gin and regret” is a favorite), you knew you were in for a treat. No matter how silly or absurd things got you could tell he was always in on the joke and having a grand time. There’s very little representation of older gay men in any media, so the fact he was so beloved and got to find an even bigger audience these past few years has been lovely to watch. RIP.

this man I’m sure lived through a world of pain, and still somehow never let his comedy become mean or cynical. truly a legend.

I have to assume Call Me Kat will be pretty swiftly cancelled. He was an integral part of that show, they all seemed to love him, and it’s way too silly to deal with a death episode.

Your comment is two months old but it looks like they acted fast and now Vicki Lawrence is playing Jordan’s character’s mother on the show.  https://www.tvinsider.com/gallery/call-me-kat-season-3-episode-10-vicki-lawrence-phil-mom-photos/#2

I am so saddened by this news. He was so delightful. 67 is just too young to die.

  • pearlnyx-av says:

Brother Boy was the best part of Sordid Lives.

  • drips-av says:

noooo oh that’s weird I was completely randomly thinking of him this morning. No idea why he just popped in my head. Man he was still pretty young, really.

  • surprise-surprise-av says:

I know someone who is friends with his sister. I just feel awful for her, she lost her mother and another sibling earlier this year.

  • mikolesquiz-av says:

He was only 67?! He’s been an old man as long as I can remember. And how did crashing a car into a building kill him, was he driving a Model T?Sad, regardless. I liked him a lot.

  • zirconblue-av says:

He also had a recurring role on Reba.
