Now that Rosie O'Donnell is readying herself to graze in greener pastures, producers of The View have started looking at candidates to fill the "obnoxious woman with deep-seated mental health issues that the audience sorta loves and also sorta wants to see buried alive" slot. At the top of the list? Roseanne Barr, whose own critically maligned talk show seems to be all but forgotten (it's not even mentioned in this article). Other candidates include: Kathy Griffin, the recently fired Joan Rivers, Whoopi Goldberg, Bette Midler (really?), and WTF wild card Connie Chung.
