Ahead of last night’s season finale, we spoke with co-creator Taika Waititi and the What We Do In The Shadows team to find out how that scene came together.

I love the show, but the Vampire World Council? It’s been done.

The film was amusing and I was interested at first in a TV thing. But it’s become hype overkill and it’s not nearly as funny as Waititi and the gang think. This whole thing is beginning to feel like when a bunch of high school boys get together with a basic funny concept and then amp each other to believing it’s Monty Python levels of hilarity and everyone else is looking and thinking that it was actually funny until they beat it into the ground, why won’t they just let it go now?
