Terry O'Quinn going back to the island on Hawaii Five-0

When Lost wrapped its final season, most of the talk that immediately followed was what would happen to breakout stars Michael Emerson and Terry O’Quinn. And absolutely nothing else—that’s all anyone talked about after the Lost finale, remember? Anyway, while both actors dropped hints about reuniting for an intriguing series in which they would revive their special chemistry and perhaps attempt to kill each other repeatedly all over again, that unfortunately never quite materialized. But the good news is that, like Emerson on the upcoming Person Of Interest, O’Quinn has also found a steady job, and it’s one that will reunite him another Lost alum, Daniel Dae Kim, with O’Quinn assuming a major recurring role on Hawaii Five-0.

As you may recall, Kim was originally attracted to the show because it would allow him to continue living in Hawaii, which we’ve heard nice things about. And now O’Quinn will also HAVE TO GO BACK TO THE ISLAND ™, playing a “strong, stubborn” Navy SEAL commander who trained Alex O’Loughlin’s character, and who may also know something about the mysterious deaths of his parents. So to sum up, O’Quinn is playing a stubborn, take-charge man of authority who’s keyed into an overarching mystery and stalking around the island of Hawaii, and everything is in its right place.
