The much-ballyhooed Rainbow Brite reboot isn’t going to be as prevalent or pervasive as nostalgia purists might have feared. The sassed-up animated series will run exclusively online via subscription video-on-demand service Feeln, a family-centric company that also allows users to stream movies like DragonHeart and The Iron Giant. Each week beginning Nov. 6, three new episodes of the new Rainbow Brite will pop up on the service. Actress, singer, and younger-sister-of-Haley-Joel-Osment Emily Osment will voice the title character, with Molly Ringwald as the show’s central villain, the Dark Princess.
