Entertainment Weekly reports that The Flaming Lips' 2002 trip-fest Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots is being turned into a Broadway musical sometime in the near future. The writer? None other than Aaron Sorkin of The West Wing and Studio 60 fame. Details are scant, although Lips leader Wayne Coyne seems to fancy the production as some sort of Gilliam-esque feast for the synapses. So long as Bradley Whitford doesn't get cast as anything, we're cool.
