The Goosebumps series is pared down in these minimalist posters

Aux Features Books

Halloweencostumes.com has been keeping its blog full of interesting infographics around movies and pop culture that could inspire a reader with cool costume ideas (that they can order while on that very site). The company’s graphics department is back at it with posters based on R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps series. Produced in time to celebrate Halloween and tomorrow’s release of the Goosebumps movie, these graphics observe the minimalist poster trend popularized by Mondo Tees and others.

These posters provide a visual shorthand for the respective plots of choice selections from the original Goosebumps series, including each original cover’s slogan. If there’s something uneasy yet familiar about the posters, it may be the selection of ITC Serif Gothic Black, the typeface used for the original Halloween posters. The full series of posters can be viewed at Halloweencostumes.com.
