This Twin Peaks revival season draws to a close, but you can still catch up

Here’s what’s happening in the world of television for Sunday, September 3. All times are Eastern. BYO cherry pie and coffee.

Top pick

Twin Peaks (Showtime, 8 p.m.) After 16 episodes, the increasingly more bizarre world of David Lynch’s Twin Peaks’ revival for Showtime comes to its seasonal conclusion tonight. As mystifying as this series is, we kind of doubt that things will be wrapped up in any kind of satisfactory manner—more likely in some sort of terrifying cliffhanger. If you’re late to the party but would still like to check the finale out, we have to point you to TV editor Erik Adams’ herculean effort of condensing all the craziness of the season so far into two minutes and 40 seconds. Even if your questions are not entirely cleared up afterward, it’s certainly an entertaining watch to get you hopped up for tonight’s episode. (Due to the holiday weekend, look for our final Twin Peaks 2017 roundtable on Tuesday.)

Regular coverage

BoJack Horseman (TV Club Classic)
Narcos (Netflix)
The Strain (FX, 10 p.m.)
Insecure (HBO, 10:30 p.m.)

Wild card

Psycho Wedding Crasher (Lifetime, 8 p.m.): For a different kind of mania, head over to a new Lifetime movie, in which unfairly ousted Dancing With The Stars contestant Heather Morris is driven mad by years working in her aunt’s wedding-dress shop and becomes obsessed with someone else’s groom. Yes, it’s Psycho Wedding Crasher. Twin Peaks appears nearly sane in comparison.
