Tony-winning actress Natasha Richardson critically injured in skiing accident

According to reports from multiple news organizations, actress Natasha Richardson suffered a critical head injury at the Mount Tremblant ski resort yesterday. Richardson is best-known for her Tony-winning turn in the 1998 revival of Cabaret, and for a variety of film roles including Patty Hearst, The Handmaid's Tale and The Parent Trap. She's the daughter of Vanessa Redgrave and Tony Richardson, and the wife of actor Liam Neeson, with whom she has two teenage sons. At the moment, little is known about the nature or severity of the accident.
