Trainspotting sequel a go?

Aux Features Newswire

Trainspotting director Danny Boyle, speaking at the preview of his latest movie Sunshine, confirmed that he plans to move ahead with Porno, Irvine Welsh's follow-up to the cult novel and movie that briefly made doing heroin and listening to Underworld seem like the coolest thing ever. According to Boyle, all original cast members are on board for the reunion—although as recently as last week, Ewan McGregor is said to have remarked, "They can go ahead and do it if they want, but it will be without me on board." (McGregor is reportedly still upset that Boyle chose Leonardo DiCaprio to star in The Beach, which the director has apologized for.)

As for when we could expect to see filming start, Boyle added,"I just want to wait until the actors are in their 40s. I could make it now, but the problem is they all look the same. I want them to look ravaged by the passing of time."
