Transformers 3 adds Frances McDormand, John Malkovich, and Ken Jeong

Aux Features Film

Frances McDormand has found some new shit, but it’s not what you think. The Burn After Reading star has joined the cast of Transformers 3 as the National Intelligence Director, and joins her Burn After Reading co-star John Malkovich, who will supposedly play Shia LaBeouf's screwy new supervisor, so says EmpireOnline. Michael Bay announced the castings on his own website, which also included the addition of Ken Jeong, the crotch-grabbing Mr. Chow from The Hangover, whose chances of once again getting stuffed in a trunk have significantly increased with his inclusion in a Transformers movie.

Bay says pre-shooting begins in a month, noting the cast of locations includes Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington D.C., Moscow, and some parts of Florida, Texas, China, and Africa. Additional news for you gearheads out there, Bay mentions in his post that he attended a Ferrari-sponsored charity event and announced that the film will unveil the latest Autobot designed from the Ferrari 458 Italia. If we weren’t such geeks we would know whether that is something to get hot and bothered about.
