The Emmy-nominated series was a huge hit this year, so transforming it into a haunted house was a slam-dunk idea. The Horror Nights attraction promises scares from Clickers and Bloaters, but there might be even more lore that goes beyond what the first season covered, as Universal promises even more features from the video games.

Judging by that photo at the top there’s a “Eyes Wide Shut” orgy attraction.

So they decided to rename AV Club Bot as AV Club Staff. Using the Death Eaters from Harry Potter that the AI just take from any horror theme image and using the basic description from Universal.

I think this is more like the Great Hill Partners version of Alan Smithee, where nobody wants to the blame with a byline. They’ve disabled the comments on the AV Club Bot stories (and removed them from the search index, I think)

Pretty sure this scraped one or two specific websites and called it a day. I think MiceChat, though it’s also possible they went through InsideUniversal or one of the more generic sites.Order makes me think MiceChat. Not only is the AI inane, it may be outright stealing.
