Summer concert season is just heating up, but Hollywood casting season never stops. There’s no Knives Out or Luca Guadagnino news for the first time in a while, but some other major projects both found their leads and filled out their ensembles. Disney is doubling down on Moana and just cast their live-action princess, while Ben Barnes and Mary-Louise Parker will be a little less virtuous as the stars of Stephen King’s The Institute. Elsewhere, the casts of 28 Years Later and DINKS are also growing.

Miles Teller should act in a biopic about the inventor of the odometer.

I also heard he was going to act in a movie about the invention of the ATM. But they used a robotic double instead. (You know, an Automated Teller Machine.)

Missed Oppenheimertunity not having him play Edward Teller.

He should star in a Western romance, in which he plays a member of the Pony Express who wants to marry his childhood sweetheart, and has to ride Miles to Teller.

Ooh, that’s a good one.He should star in a drama about a blind mosaic maker who uses his nose for his work — a Tile Smeller.

      You monster, take your star.

Thank you.He should play a space pilot traveling between the stars — covering many Miles Stellar.Or he could do an homage to Heath Ledger’s famous role in Ten Things I Hate About You — a Stiles Melter.

Alright, one more.He should start in a movie about whoever invented those tooth color charts — a Smile Tester.

27 Dresses and The Wedding Date are not great movies (though I do watch the latter whenever I see it on TV because of Dermot Mulroney), so I’m not sure I have high hopes for this Officer and a Gentleman remake, but…I’m sure I’ll watch it anyway.

Ben Warren was a recurring character on Grey’s Anatomy since season six! In fact,  his first episode was the episode after Katherine Heigl’s last episode.

Two brief observations:- That’s a pretty good comedy cast for DINKS, though the title is really bad.- Star Trek (any series) doesn’t really need a central villain, certainly not one played by Paul Giamatti (which is to say, good for him for getting work but he’s too big a star to just appear occasionally a la Dukat from DS9 or, er, Khan I guess?) and certainly not in a series that’s ostensibly about life in an academy. I mean maybe this is what Star Trek shows do now– I have not actually seen any of the recent shows– but it just ‘feels’ wrong. But hey, Giamatti’s good, so let’s see how it goes.
