March has decided to come in swinging with an abundance of new TV shows. The month continues February’s focus on scams and scandals, starting with Hulu’s The Dropout, about Elizabeth Holmes’ Theranos debacle, and Peacock’s Joe Vs. Carole, which delves back into Tiger King mania. It’s also a big month for video game fans, as the long-awaited Halo adaptation will finally debut on Paramount+. Plus, Netflix’s Big Mouth and Prime Video’s The Boys serve up animated spin-offs with Human Resources and The Boys: Diabolical.

In addition, some big-name movie stars take to the small screen in March: Samuel L. Jackson leads Apple TV+ drama The Last Days Of Ptolemy Grey, while Renée Zellweger stars as Pam Hupp in NBC’s true-crime limited series The Thing About Pam. Jared Leto and Anne Hathaway team up as WeWork founder Adam Neumann and his wife Rebecca for Apple TV+’s WeCrashed. Finally, Oscar Isaac ventures into the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Marc Spector a.k.a. Moon Knight.

Now, I know it’s obscured by the fries bag, but but tell me the angle of that downstroke doesn’t indicate an R, as in…

It’s nuts to me that Kate McKinnon is 3 years younger than me. Nuts. Also, how ain’t yall gripped the tail and gone all out on these slideshows? Get us engaged. We love that shit.Clicks, discussion, clicks and discussion. Throw it at us. Say “what’s the better intro, The Leftovers or True Detective? And which season?I’m going season 2 on both. Can’t help it, season 2 of the Leftovers is just so good. And I wanna hear arguments for others. I know it exists, someone is like “nah. Season one’s intro is the shit.” And yeah, it probaly is.

I can’t wait for the winning time. I grew up watching Magic and Bird (my brother rooted for Magic, so I rooted for Bird) and in my old age it took alot for me to ever admit Jordan was better than Magic. He is but Magic helped change basketball and I can’t wait to see this series.

Am I the only Big Mouth fan who finds the Hormone Monsters the most grating and least favorite part of the show?

    • yellowfoot-av says:

I liked the first season, but I waited a long time to start the second season and don’t even recall if I finished it. The Hormone Monsters are a large part of my reluctance to engage with the show. It’s not even that they’re not funny a lot of the time, it’s just that they’re extremely anxiety inducing somehow. So great job on accurately personifying puberty in animation, I guess. I’ll be over there, not being reminded of it.

I really hope Moon Knight isn’t another clear pandemic show

    Where’s the love for Dicktown?

  • synonymous2anonymous-av says:

As someone who has generally enjoyed the Marvel tv shows on D+…the Moon Knight previews just aren’t doing it for me. I’ll still watch it, and I’m hoping my lowered expectations will make it even more awesome than I hope it is.

Huh. Maybe I should watch “The Tourist” and give you Seppoes a heads up on what it’s like  (it’s a Stan Original).

  • butterbattlepacifist-av says:

I liked the scripts and most of the voice acting on Big Mouth, but I had to tap out a few episodes in because the animation was so fucking ugly. How can anybody watch it? The characters are hideous. Unbelievably awful to look at.

The March is strong for this one.

    • angelicwildman-av says:

But actually the Moon Knight debuts at the end of March around the 28th I  believe.  So barely qualifies as March since you have to wait the whole month for the 1st episode with the rest showing in April.
