Curb Your Enthusiasm (HBO, Sunday, 10 p.m., series finale)
After 25 years of laughs, yelling, excellent guest appearances, and Susie’s eclectic outfits, Larry David’s iconic HBO comedy wraps up with a series finale appropriately titled “No Lessons Learned.” Check out The A.V. Fallout (Prime Video, Thursday, 12:01 a.m.)
The era of star-studded, visually stunning video-game TV adaptations is here, huh? Fallout, from Westworld creators Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan, is the latest to join that slate. Set in a technologically advanced alternate Earth, it follows the survivors of an apocalypse who are sheltered in bunkers to preserve humanity. Two centuries later, Lucy MacLean (Yellowjackets’ Ella Purnell) leaves her home to explore a devastated Los Angeles. The impressive ensemble includes Walton Goggins, Kyle MacLachlan, Aaron Moten, Moisés Arias, Michael Emerson, Cherien Dabis, Sarita Choudhury, Zach Cherry, Matt Berry, Dale Dickey, and Chris Parnell. The A.V. Club will recap each episode starting Thursday.
Hidden gems
Brandy Hellville & The Cult Of Fast Fashion (HBO, Monday, 9 p.m.)
Directed by Eva Orner, Brandy Hellvile & The Cult Of Fast Fashion looks at how Brandy Melville transformed into a must-have fashion brand for teens by harnessing the power of social media and aesthetics. However, it also exposes the company’s toxic workplace environment and discriminatory hiring process and examines the exploitative global fashion industry overall.
Chucky (SYFY, Wednesday, 10 p.m.)
Who would’ve thought the Child’s Play franchise would still be churning out exceptional horror comedy almost 40 years after its debut? Chucky, Don Mancini’s SYFY show, returns for the back half of its third season—and it’s absolutely killer. Here’s a bit from The A.V. Club’s review:
Hilarious one-liners and pop-culture references are churned out at the same pace as grotesque kills. It’s hard for a slasher to find comedy organically without seeming like a parody, but it happens flawlessly here. Chucky is fun because it’s self-aware and confident in its tone.

Quiet On Set: Breaking The Silence (ID, Sunday, 8 p.m.)
The eye-opening, explosive docuseries Quiet On Set: The Dark Side Of Kids TV, about Dan Schneider’s horrific Nickelodeon tenure, gets a follow-up. To further unpack the messed-up legacy of a popular network, “Breaking The Silence” brings back earlier subjects like Drake Bell, Bryan Hearne, and Tracey Browne and also features a new interview with All That’s Shane Lyons.
Baby Reindeer (Netflix, Thursday, 3:01 a.m.)
Comedian and actor Richard Gadd pens the new thriller series Baby Reindeer based on his real-life experiences. In it, he plays Donny Dunn, who is pursued relentlessly by a stalker for several years.
