Interview With The Vampire surpassed expectations upon its 2022 debut and its return is highly anticipated. Based on Anne Rice’s book series, it’s a gut-wrenching and sexy drama exploring the romance between Lestat de Lioncourt (Sam Reid) and Louis de Pointe du Lac (Jacob Anderson) across decades. Their relationship worsens when a new vampire fledgling, Claudia (Delainey Hayles), joins their family. Season two, set in 1940, takes place with Louis and Claudia in Paris and tackles Louis’ affair with Armand (Assad Zaman). The A.V. Club will recap the show weekly.


Bridgerton (Netflix, Thursday, 3:01 a.m.)

Forget the Duke and Daphne or Kate and Anthony. In season three, Bridgerton puts the spotlight on Penelope (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin (Luke Newton) as the former attempts to find a husband and the latter, her longtime crush, decides to help her navigate the chaos. The first four episodes premiere on May 16, with the remaining four arriving in June. The A.V. Club’s review of part one publishes on Thursday.

Based on Joel Sherman’s articles in The New York Post, Bronx Zoo ’90: Crime, Chaos And Baseball is a docuseries that follows the disastrous, tumultuous time before the Yankees became a ’90s dynasty.

In the British thriller The Killing Kind, barrister Ingrid Lewis’ (Emma Appleton) life falls apart after she gets close to a notorious client, John Webster (Colin Morgan), who was on trial for stalking. Just as she’s rebuilding her career, he reappears and threatens to take it all away again.


Pillowcase Murders (Paramount+, Tuesday, 3:01 a.m.)

Directed by Randy Ferrell, Pillowcase Murders is a three-part true-crime doc about serial killer Billy Chemirmir, who preyed upon the residents of high-end retirement communities in the Dallas area. No one suspected a man posing as a maintenance worker was killing vulnerable, elderly women, and this series shows how he got away with it for two years.
