The Real Housewives shows aren’t strictly competitions, but every fan knows that when it’s all said and done, every season has winners—and losers. It’s fun (and usually accurate) to imagine that all of these ladies are playing their own personal Game Of Thrones. But they can’t all be Cersei, and for every Margaery, there’s a Ned Stark head on a spike, or, heaven forbid, a Reek.
This season of The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills, which came to an end on October 26, was no different, and while some of the ladies did come out ahead, it was bad for a lot of them. So where did Kyle, Lisa, Garcelle, Dorit, and all the rest land this season? Well …

I haven’t seen a single episode, but my understanding was the housewives sat on white sofas and screamed at each other for the duration of the episode (sometimes this activity happens at a table by a pool, often with white wine). Now I’m to understand there are winners and losers?
That cat that was sitting at a table that they were shouting at , the one from the memes, he was the winner .Lovers of quality television though , they were the real losers, as always.
I won, because I didn’t watch it.
You (and I) are the winner because you have never watched a single episode. But we are both the loser for taking the time to comment on it.Life can be complex.
Whoever wins, we lose.
“Dorit”?
Remember when the AV Club used to run retrospectives on Francois Truffaut and Yasujiro Ozu? But hey, a slide show about who “won” season 12 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is…content as well. Look at you go! Keep on slidin’!
I mean, I’m no Housewife fan but just because its our yuck, doesn’t mean it isn’t other people’s yums. It’s pretty pop culture relevant, so I don’t see why AV Club shouldn’t cover it..which is shame because without Housewives, Andy Cohen would just finally go away.I’d say Truffaut and Ozu are pretty niche and would get about 10% of clicks than ‘Hey, look at these awful people” articles.
Christ I’m sick of this “don’t yuck my yum” “let people enjoy things” bullshit. Housewives is godawful, bottom of the barrel, lowest common denominator schlock, and if you claim to be a fan I’m judging the shit out of you.
Doesn’t anyone remember laughter?
The viewers were the real losers. As were the cast. I see nothing but losers in this equation.
Those who don’t watch this are the winners.
So I see you guys just decided to completely ignore your key demographic and lean into gossip culture? It’s like y’all leaned nothing from the gawker bullshit
This was fun.
Who gives a flying fuck?
