    So the problem is… it’s a movie about an incident where several people got shot, and because of the incident on the set of Rust, Baldwin should never ever be in another movie with guns in it?

      I’m tired of the idea that people should bend over backwards to avoid appearing tone-deaf even if there’s a perfectly good reason why it’s not tone-deaf.

      Yes, several people got shot. Four others were killed. William, Allison, Jeffrey and Sandra would all be about 73 now if they hadn’t been killed by the National Guard troops 53 years ago this month. That’s enough time to fulfill career aspirations, get married, have kids, have grand kids, spend a lifetime sharing with friends, and whatever else they’d have wanted. I could care less about Alec Baldwin, but it was more than people getting shot.
