Serbian protestors are lobbying to have an upcoming Rolling Stones concert at Belgrade's Hippodrome moved because of plans to sedate as many as 300 horses at a nearby racecourse. Serbia's preeminent animal protection society, ORCA, argues that the concert will be extremely harmful to the horses, and that doping them with sedatives should not be a viable solution.
As an alternative to drugs, maybe the Stones should consider playing a set composed entirely of tracks from Voodoo Lounge?
